Our goal at OctoEverywhere is to build world-class 3D printing cloud tools and make them freely available to the maker community. OctoEverywhere is 100% community funded with our Supporter Perks.
Due to recent price increases from our payment providers, we have been forced to update the pricing for one of our Supporter Perks. When payment providers increase their pricing, our project gets less funding.
This change will only affect the monthly pricing; no yearly prices will be changed. Most of the Supporter community uses yearly billing, so this change does not affect most users. All monthly prices will increase by $1. The change will be applied after 5/21/24.
This only affects monthly pricing because of how payment pricing works. There’s a fixed fee plus a percentage-based fee. The percentage fee is the same for monthly and yearly supporters, but the fixed fee is charged 12 times a year instead of once for yearly supporters. Thus, when the payment providers change the fixed fee, the fixed fee dramatically affects monthly supporters.
