How To SSH Into The Artillery Sidewinder X4
SSH is a way to connect to your Sidewinder X4 printer from your desktop or laptop computer. To SSH, you will need a terminal, such as MobaXterm, on Windows or the Terminal app on a Mac. If you need help downloading and using MobaXterm, here is an excellent guide.
When you have your terminal ready, use the following command to ssh into your Artillery Sidewinder X4:
ssh -p 22 mks@<your-printer-ip-address>
SSH Password For The Artillery Sidewinder X4
When SSHing into your Sidewinder X4, you must use a username and password. The SSH username and password for the Artillery Sidewinder X4 are:
Username: mks
Password: makerbase
When you open the SSH connection, use the password above when prompted.
Enable Webcam Support For The Sidewinder X4
To use a webcam, plug any USB webcam into the Artillery Sidewinder X4 USB port and enable the webcam server.
To enable the webcam server on the Artillery Sidewinder X4, SSH into the device and run the following command:
sudo systemctl enable webcamd
sudo systemctl start webcamd
